Iโm Ryan and I live in Burlington, Ontario Canada with my beautiful wife, amazing son, and dog Daisy. Family and community are super important to me and one of the main reasons why I created an online studio to bring people together through the practice of yoga.
I came to yoga in 2014 after a serious car accident. My doctor recommended that I try yoga to help reduce the tingling in my fingers and toes. However, I got really serious in 2018 when I decided to take control of my health and wellbeing. Iโve lost over 150 lbs and I can honestly say that yoga helped transform my life. Yoga has allowed me to create more space, compassion, and empathy in my life and quite frankly itโs made me a better person. I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training @ Chrysalis Yoga in February 2020 and have continued to practice, teach and learn different styles of yoga. ๐ง๐ป Off the mat, you will most likely catch me cycling (as long as itโs not raining or snowing ๐ง๐จ) or at the gym. ๐ด๐๐ป
1. Access - Yoga is for everyone and is at the core of our practice; I am a true believer in making yoga accessible for all and it shouldnโt cost a fortune to take part in
2. Inclusivity - A space of wellness and community for people of all backgrounds, ages, shapes and sizes to practice yoga
3. Community - Create a community that is supportive, caring, and empathetic - face it, we all need more of this in our lives!
4. Opportunity - Provide an opportunity to energize, revitalize, and restore our minds and bodies through purposeful movement

Students have described my style as invigorating with the right amount of nurturing, challenge, and play. Every BODY is different and I encourage all my students to appreciate where they are at.

Looking forward to seeing you in class and having you part of the Atomic Yoga community!
